
Vprox 1000 and Vprox 4000 are self contained proximity control units which will control
and store 1000 and 4000 proximity keys respectively, control four main doors as standard
(expanding to 20 main doors) and 99 apartment doors. The units are housed in powder
coated hinged metal enclosures, allowing ease of access for programming. Both systems
incorporate the following.
• 2 line 16 character display.
• 4x4 alpha numeric keyboard.
• Password protection.
• 1000 event log memory (Vprox 1000) 2048 memory (Vprox 4000).
• RS232 port for PC connection using VP1000 & VP4000 software.
• Alarm relay with timed activation after five failed attempts.
• On board real time clock with battery back up.
• Two removable EEprom memory modules (memory back up).
• Programming, deletion and testing of a single key.
• Setting of all door open times (from 1 to 255 seconds).
• Setting of four time profiles.
VPROX 1000A
A remote self contained door control unit, allowing expansion of the Vprox 1000 and 4000
4 door control units to control an additional 16 main doors (by adding one control unit for
each additional door) and to control up to 99 secondary doors (by adding one control unit
for each additional door). All 1000A door control units are connected in parallel on a serial
three wire screened BUS (cable size is dependant on distance). Vprox 1000A is contained in
a 9 module DIN box and is powered by 230V AC.
VP-1000 & VP-4000 WINDOWS SOFTWARE
Vprox windows software has been designed to manage and enhance the main features of
Vprox 1000 & Vprox 4000 when connected to a PC. The software allows access to all
configuration parameters including:

Upload and download from Vprox control unit.
• Addition, editing and deletion of fobs or cards.
•
Setting of the four time profiles.
• Selecting the number of doors that are connected to the system.
• Programming of door open times for the 4 main doors.
•
Assigning labels to doors allowing door to be identified.
• Display the last five users.
• Display photo ID of user if installed.
• Full system log of all transactions.
